Please join us as we welcome The Venerable Losang Samten
to Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs.

Founder and Spiritual director of Four Tibetan Buddhist Centers in the United States.

The Venerable Losang Samten, a renowned Tibetan scholar and a former Buddhist monk received his education at the Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts and the Namgyal Monastery. He served as attendant and ritual master for His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

Wednesday March 27th
Blessing of the Waters Ceremony 2 p.m.

Venerable Losang Samten will lead a chanting ceremony to offer a blessing to enhance
the health and wellness provided by the sacred waters of Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs.
Attending the ceremony is complimentary to all Springs’ day and lodging guests.

Thursday March 28th
Tibetan Ritual Dance movement
Yoga Class 9 a.m.

Venerable Lama Losang Samten was the Ritual Dance Master at the Namgyal Monastery which is the monastery of His Holiness, the Dalai Lama. The ritual dance is an ancient tantric dance which are conceived as beautiful offerings to all enlightened beings. The movements of the dance is also a form of healing for individual’s body, speech, mind and the environment. 

Yoga class is $14 per person or $25 per person with Ojo’s Soak & Stretch Package
which includes yoga and day access to all mineral pools, steam & sauna.
